A Morning in Chicago

For Labor Day weekend this year I headed down to Chicago on a solo trip to see System of a Down in concert, a band I don’t really listen to much anymore but was formative in high school and college. The morning before the concert I took a walk around some areas of Chicago, starting in the Hispanic neighborhood of Pilsen, where I was staying, and then heading into downtown with the rest of the tourists. I don’t do much (any really) street/architectural photography, so this was a fun muscle to exercise, especially working on not being self-conscious taking photos when a lot of people are around.
